AN ALFRESCO FOOD + WINE EXPERIENCE BUILT AROUND HOUSTON’S CULINARY COMMUNITY.
Memorial Food + Wine brought together leading chefs, hospitality and community for an intimate open-air culinary experience in Houston. DeMartino Design Group led the creative direction, event design and production, transforming the site with a clear-top tent, layered lighting, custom chef environments and a central hospitality bar. A warm palette of butter, pink, sage and tempranillo shaped the visual world, while thoughtful details, from branded service pieces to custom aprons and scenic elements, created a cohesive guest experience. The result was a relaxed, design-forward evening that gave each chef a distinct platform while bringing the entire event together as one unified experience.
THE EXPERIENCE
Create a food and wine event that felt elevated but effortless, not gala, not festival. The design centered the chefs while using color, lighting, branded details and hospitality moments to create a relaxed, highly curated environment guests could move through naturally.
